Leading into the holiday season, I am going to be putting together gift guides of pretty things I love. It will include work from friends, things that I've seen online and from markets that I've participated in.

They will feature original work from small businesses.

Does anyone remember treasuries on etsy back in the day? That's what I was inspired by. I'm still friends with so many people I met in this community groups way back when. If that's how we met, please drop an emoji!

As the days get shorter, colder and darker, I'm holding onto summer with these adorable Wildflower Earrings. These sweet earrings remind me of picnics in the park, outdoor concerts, and Sunday brunches with friends.

Thank you so much for the lovely event, Seattle. The community, the friends, the customers, the weather, the dances and the food, it was all so nice, and a really sweet way to close my outdoor market season.

Thank you so much to Seattle’s Chinatown-International District for organizing and putting together events like these. For creating the traditions and memories, and reasons for generations and community to gather. Thank you to Shishido Creative for being such a community leader and inviting me into my first stamp rally. Thank you to Studio Toujours // Katrina for the Seattle Best Tea treat.

Sometimes when people visit my booth and see my work for the first time, they look a little awed. They're trying to absorb it all. All of the little things, all of the little details. I explain how my rainbow makers work, I share about my earrings and the inspiration. I talk about my work and I tell them that I make things for whimsy and joy, and they smile, and I know that they see my work, they see me, and they feel it.

And that's the best thing in the whole world.

When someone sees my work, and they leave my booth feeling a little lighter.

I'll have Geese and Crow Adoptions tomorrow at the Seattle’s Chinatown-International District Night Market! Super limited quantities because I hand make and name each and every one.

This is my brand new display for all my little goslings. I can't wait to share the crows and their accessories. 🐦‍⬛✨✨

My friend Mandy from Shishido Creative not only organized the stamp rally, but she designed and riso printed the Rally Cards, all of the graphics and handmade and cut that darling white rabbit inspired notepad that she's giving away. She also very kindly shared how it all works too, because I honestly had no idea. ☺️

The rules Mandy wrote are below, JIC you're new to Stamp Rallys too. The map of where you can find me and the other participating artists is in my carousel, and here is the full list of artists. It's a small group which makes it easy to do, with a low price point to make it accessible too.

what are the rules?

1. Make a $5+ minimum purchase from each participating artist booth. Be sure to collect a stamp from each booth!

2. When you've collected your final stamp, come by Shishido Creative's booth (B7) for your prize bag!

what do I get?

A cute little bag filled with food themed products from each brand. Prizes include a pin, notepad, print, stickers, valued over $30!

The mornings are bright, warm and feel like summer, the evenings are cool, crisp and the shorter days feel like winter. It means it's that time of year again, for the Night Market!

SEATTLE • Saturday 9/26 • 1-9 pm

What makes this event extra special is that all of the 90+ pop-up businesses and 50+ brick and mortar businesses are all local to the Seattle area. Unlike some of the larger events that are hosted at the Seattle Center, this one is full of more local businesses, it's small, and the prices are so unbelievably reasonable.

🏮Seattle’s Chinatown-International District Night Market returns for its 19th year on Saturday, September 26 from 1pm-9pm. This free, all-ages street festival features 90+ vendors, delicious street food, handmade goods, a mahjong pop up, giveaways and live performances including lion dances, taiko drumming, and martial arts.

🥡 Night Market Food Walk

Explore 50+ brick and mortar CID businesses during the Night Market Food Walk from 1pm-9pm! Pick up a menu at the information booth in Hing Hay Park and plan your route for this self-guided neighborhood tour. Sign up for the digital passport, collect 10 points at businesses, and pick up a limited edition prize! (while supplies last).

It's Tulip bulb planting season! If you're in Zones 3-5 the time is now. And Zones 6-7 will start planting them in mid October.

So let this be your reminder to order your bulbs or to schedule the ~6 week fridge time if you're in zones 8-10. Seattle is now classified as Zone 9a, a warmer zone, which means our planting season is in late October/early November before the ground freezes, or when the soil temperature drops before 60°.

Because our winter temps stay pretty mild in Seattle, we need to refrigerate the bulbs to help them kick start the cold stratification. They need 12-14 weeks of cold wintery temps in order to trigger the spring blooming cycle.

And if you were in Seattle yesterday, you know we're not done with summer yet! 75° and sunny, it was a warm one. 🥵 (Says the girl what was in LA a week ago when it was 103° walking around Old Pasadena like it's no big deal, lol!)

Oh! And this is also me letting you know that I've completely sold out of my Red Tulip earrings. Chicago, you wiped me out last weekend.

Little ladybugs for luck! 🐞✨ They say that when you see a ladybug it means you'll have good luck! Stop by my booth on the corner of Wolcott and Division Street in Chicago between 11-7 for a little luck today. I have tiny little ladybug earrings and they're the sweetest thing.

We're in line for kasama right now as I post this, and we had Millys Pizza In The Pan for dinner last night, Chicago food scene is remarkable.

My booth is a 7 minute walk from Kasama, so I feel like I'm writing your Sunday plans already. 🥰💗

SNOHOMISH • Find all of these florals and so much more at the first ever Snohomish in Bloom event tomorrow from 11-6 PM!

Tavares will be representing my booth from 11-5 tomorrow, so make sure you stop by early to say hello and to see all things HEMLEVA at what I'm sure is going to be a beautiful event.

If you haven't met him yet, Tavares has been working with me for years now. Not only is he my very first (and only) employee, he's also one of the nicest and most caring human beings I've ever met.

Stop by the event for floral workshops,demos and classes. Bring your prettiest Dahlia for the contest (I believe this is open to everyone!), shop the artisan market and enjoy a sweet drizzly day in Snohomish.
