, I know year 43 wasn’t the kindest to you but I know 44 will bring lots of blessings.

Last year brought something none of us ever expected…..a cancer diagnosis that changed everything in an instant. And yet, through it all, you have shown up with strength, determination, and a quiet courage that continues to amaze me.

The boys and I admire you more than you’ll ever fully understand. Your drive, your heart, your ability to keep moving forward even on the hard days, it inspires us every single day.

This birthday feels different. More meaningful. More hopeful. I truly believe this year will be amazing and filled with healing, strength, and so many moments of joy. Wishing you full health, peace, and the best year yet… because you deserve all of it and more.

We love you endlessly. Always cheering you on. Always by your side. Love you infinity.

Another year. Another loop around the 🌞. 
And more than anything, I feel deeply grateful.
When I was younger, I used to dread the idea of getting older. It felt like something to fear, something to outrun. Now I understand how much of a gift it truly is. Life can change in an instant, and every single day we’re given is something sacred. It’s not promised, not guaranteed.

I’m finishing 2025 in a place I didn’t expect, but I’m finishing it with awareness, humility, and gratitude. For the people who love me. For health. For all the quiet moments that often matter the most. For the lessons I didn’t ask for, but needed according to God and the universe. 🙏

As I step into 2026, I’m choosing to move forward with a deeper appreciation for everything. I’m holding onto faith, continuing to dream, and allowing myself to believe in all that’s possible. ✨✨

This is HUGE for our city and honestly… long overdue. Thanks to an incredible collaboration between Choose Chicago, Mayor Brandon Johnson, ABC7, DCASE, and Dick Clark Productions, Chicago is about to shine on one of the biggest stages in the world.

After a record-breaking tourism year (hello, 3.5M+ hotel bookings this summer!), this moment feels extra special.
