We had the pleasure of seeing the newly refurbished Varty Camp at Londolozi Game Reserve which looks even better than ever. Each of the chalets now has a bright and airy look to them, along with a refreshed main bar and main dining area. Such a warm and welcoming place to relax after safari!

Happy ! We’ve just returned from South Africa and will be sharing a few highlights from our time on safari. First up, Lion Sands Game Reserve Narina Lodge. This 9 suite, “organic chic” property is perched among the trees overlooking the Sabie River, which provides lovely views of the surrounding area and wildlife (either from the main lounge or the privacy of your own plunge pool 😉). Food is exceptional and the warm, smiling staff makes you feel right at home!

After a 10-month, multi-million dollar renovation the One&Only Le Saint Géran reopened this past December. From its beautiful stretch of beach and its private location, Le Saint Géran is the perfect address for couples, but also has enough option in case the kids want to come along! We had a chance to spend some time here this week and take it from us, it’s back and better than ever! &OnlyHotels

Weekends are better at the beach! We had a great time exploring the northwest corner of for a few days, which included a stay at The Oberoi Mauritius. The beautiful grounds and spacious pavilions and villas are the perfect retreat after a day of activity...or just relaxing!

A little inspiration for our friends on this ...We’ve just returned from a weekend getaway in Ireland, which included a fabulous stay at the luxury country house Ballyfin Demesne. No visit to Sri Lanka would be complete without a few days in tea country. Not only were we able to learn about the delicate process of tea production, but also get out and see the countryside by foot. There are some great trails to explore along with biking, kayaking, and whitewater rafting. The highlight though, was staying at Ceylon Tea Trails. This collection of five bungalows is a member of Relais & Châteaux and the best address in the area. Each bungalow is intimate and inviting, with the amazing staff making you feel right at home.
