ORG OF THE YEAR FRNS!!! If you didn’t know, Food Recovery Network won organization of the year! We are so incredibly grateful to have such an amazing team of leaders and hard workers. Thank you so much to our wonderful presidents and .evans312 and to our advisor Kevin by leading us through the way. Today kicks off Rambler Recovery Week. Here is all the information you need to know! Come by and donate your non perishables for a chance to win free lunch and a raffle prize!

It’s that time of year FRieNds!

Rambler Recovery Week starts NEXT WEEK!! Collect all of your non perishable food items you have in your pantry or use your left over dining dollars to buy food in bulk to donate to us. The club/organization and individual who donates the most about of food will win a FREE meal and a chance to win our secret raffle prize the week of finals. We can’t wait to see you all donate, spread the word!

WOW FRieNds!! We raised a total of $833 from our fundraiser thanks to your help! We’re so happy we get to continue to carry on our mission of fighting food waste and feeding the people. All proceeds went to our partner, A Just Harvest. Stay tuned for more upcoming events!

We have a HUGE fundraiser coming up! This fundraiser will help us raise money for our partner, A Just Harvest our local Rogers Park food pantry. Pay a MINIMUM of $5, however we’d love to see people donate more, and you get Pasta Bowl, Olive Garden, AND The Fresh Market. What more could you ask for! Spread the word as this event is coming up, we can’t wait to see you all there!

We have a new and upcoming event happening THIS WEDNESDAY. The Food Justice Fair hosted by FRN is a way for students and staff to learn and understand more about Food Justice advocacy. There will be snacks, presentations, and conversations surrounding the current impact food waste has on our environment and our community. We can’t wait to see you there!

Hey FRieNds,
Applications for Food Equity Coordinators (FEC) are now open! This is the one and only paid club position on Loyola’s campus and a great opportunity to expand on your knowledge about food insecurity. Our FEC’s do so much work for the community by connecting with local food pantries, restaurants, and businesses in the area to fight food waste. Apply by the 27th of this month. Have any questions? Reach out to us through DM or email. We can’t wait to read all of the amazing applicants!
