Did you know that standard "ring sizes" are actually a relatively modern invention? 💍
For centuries, the concept of a "size 7" simply didn't exist. If you wanted a ring, you went to a local jeweler. They measured your finger and painstakingly forged a piece of jewelry specifically for you. It was entirely bespoke, highly personalized, and—naturally—very slow and expensive to produce.
