A tribute to a Met legend 👏
Earlier this season, mezzo-soprano Denyce Graves retired from the stage following a three-decade career that began with her 1995 debut in the title role of Bizet’s Carmen and concluded with Maria in the Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess.
Her indelible contributions to the Met have been marked with a new plaque in List Hall.
Thank you for an incredible 30 years, Denyce!
