AVER Chicago Chapter

We thank Steamworks for supporting AVER (American Veterans for Equal Rights) on Veterans Day 2025!!

Please join us as we celebrate and commemorate the service of our LGBTQ+ veterans at our Annual Veterans Day Dinner on November 11 at Ann Sather.

Recruiting volunteers to march with AVER (American Veterans for Equal Rights), Chicago Chapter, in the Memorial Day Parade, Saturday, May 24. Please let me know. We meet up on Wacker Drive near State Street around 11am. We will be done by 2pm. Many of our LGBTQ+ veterans are in their 80s and no longer able to march to carry the AVER banner and Color Guard flags. We will also be looking for people to march in the Chicago Pride Parade!! Thank you!! Look for the maroon car with the AVER sign on the roof!
