Chicago lost one of its best on Friday after Riley O'Neil was doored and hit by a semi while riding in Bridgeport. Riley was as kind as could be and always looking for ways to help, whether listening to community members around Chicago and getting bike racks (Riley Racks) installed where they'd be most helpful or jumping in to assist in the early days of the Bike Chicago program. Our hearts are broken and our deepest condolences go out to his family and friends. Join Bike Grid Now at Palmisano Park on Monday at 7PM for a vigil and ride in Riley's honor.

Everyone who shows up makes these events so special to us, thank you the Gage Park Cyclists and Pookie for bringing a great group of cyclists into the fold. We are proud to be partnered with the North Lawndale Ride last week, hosted by Equiticity exploring their Neighborhood Mobility Models within the neighborhood. It was great to learn about their work in the community, and how bikes support community mobility.

Thank you!
