When we’re house hunting, my job is to be your advisor and catch the things you might not notice while you’re picturing yourself living there.

I’m looking at the details, asking questions, and paying attention to anything that makes me want to take a closer look.

A red flag doesn’t always mean you walk away, but you better believe I’m asking questions.

While you’re picturing where the couch would go and whether you can see yourself cooking in that kitchen, I’m paying attention to a few other things around the house.

- The bones: foundation, roof, and anything that could point to a bigger issue.

- The mechanicals: HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Not exciting, but you want to know what you’re walking into.

- The water: where it goes, how the property drains, and whether there are signs of moisture where there shouldn’t be.

- The layout: does the house actually work for the way you live? Or are we already figuring out how to make it work?

- The bigger picture: location, price, the neighborhood, and whether the house makes sense beyond how good it looks online.

I want you to love the house. I also want you to know exactly what you’re buying.
