Part brewery, part gastropub, and always a good time. Known for house-brewed beer, solid food, and a relaxed neighborhood feel just off Howard Street.

Sometimes you have to take a step back and appreciate how far things have come.

Renovations can feel long and exhausting in the moment.

You’re making decisions every day, dealing with delays, trying to picture what it will all look like in the end.

And then one day it’s done, and it feels like it was always meant to be that way.

We recently looked back at what our yard looked like before the remodel…overgrown, water pooling everywhere flowing right into the basement, all kinds
of grading issues and not a safe area anywhere for kids.
It’s a good reminder of why the “before” photos matter. If you’re starting a project, take them. You’ll be surprised how much you forget along the way.
