W for the Black & Gold!! The Riot clawed back from a 17-5 hole to secure a memorable Chicago Area Rugby Football Union victory!

Thank you to Chicago Rugby Club for hosting us for another physical match and great social. Always a pleasure to make the trip northwest to The Red Lobster Stadium.

Rookie Deshawn Salter nabbed this week’s Grand Union Creative man of the match award!

Our top side faces Chicago Lions Rugby tomorrow in our final home match of the 2026 fall season.

Our D2 side will spend the week preparing for our final home game of the fall. Our D4 players willing push them hard in practice before regrouping on a bye this weekend.

Our D2 side will take on Chicago Blaze Rugby Club at 2 p.m. following our D4 side’s first ever match against Northside Rugby Club at 12 p.m.

Tomorrow will be a great day to be in Black & Gold!

We kick off our Chicago Area Rugby Football Union fall campaigns tomorrow at Smith Park. Join us in the sun for an afternoon of running Riot Rugby.

Big week ahead for Riot Rugby as we look to open our Fall Season with two matches at home this Saturday, Aug. 22!!

Lots of work to be done at Smith Park before we kick off this weekend. We have two more practices to build on the continuity we found in our first hit out against Kenosha Mammoths & Northwest Woodsmen Rugby Club last weekend up in Wisconsin.
