As products of underprivileged communities we realized how hard it is to dream or imagine wealth and financial stability when you have no realistic model for what it looks like or how to obtain such success.

Last time yall heard from us we were advertising a free tax filing event. We provided free tax filing for any individuals & families that made less than 70k on the south side of Chicago. This service is available nationwide directly through he IRS. Here’s some pictures from our event

Someone told us they paid $200 to get their taxes file, and they still owed money afterwards. Let’s not make that mistake again.

6 months ago we introduced the South Chicago Financial Literacy (SCFL) Program where we worked with englewood crushers club to introduce youth to being advocates and literate in the financial space. Rather than talking to them about budgeting, we broke down race and its historic connection to wealth building. We believe understanding the fundamentals and history of socio economics in the United States will help underprivileged groups understand exactly why they are underprivileged.

We’re here to change that! Join us this Sunday, March 9th at 1701 w Garfield BLVD where we’re teaming up with tax and accounting students from Cornell University to help individuals & small businesses with household incomes under $70k file their taxes for free. 📑💰

We’re aiming to provide accessible tax services while educating and empowering our community to take advantage of the free resources available. Let’s make sure every dollar stays where it belongs - in your pocket! 💪

BUT, we are even more excited to announce that we will be offering an internship opportunity for Chicago based college and university students. Please take a chance to recommend a friend or student you know has the skills to help us coordinate programming this year!
