On June 13th, 9am-2pm, Wagner Farm, 1510 Wagner Rd., Glenview IL 60025, owned by the Glenview Park District, is hosting their annual livestock fair where 4-H and FFA members will be showing their 'project' animals.

A group of us have been speaking at the park district board meetings for over a year now in the hopes of transitioning Wagner Farm into a working plant-based farm and animal sanctuary. We are working on fliers to hand out to people as they walk in/out of Wagner Farm to educate them on what is truly going on there and that there is an alternative program, LEAP (Leaders for Ethics, Animals, and the Planet), where children can still work with animals, learn hard work and team work, but also learn ethical stewardship, how to love and respect all living beings (not turn their backs on them and send them to slaughter), and how to care for the environment.

We will most likely break down into morning and afternoon shifts for this, depending on how many people are able to come out. Comment below or DM (through the above group or the below email) if you’re able to come help us hand out fliers!

We need more voices to create real change for these animals and there is strength in numbers!
