British Academy/Leverhulme Small Research Grants The British Academy/Leverhulme Small Research Grants are available to support primary research in the humanities and social sciences. These awards, up to £10,000 in value and tenable for up to 24 months, are provided to cover the cost of the expenses arising from a defined research project.

Reinforcing its commitment to providing a transformative education to students, UChicago is launching an initiative that will guarantee free tuition for families with incomes below $250,000, starting in Autumn Quarter 2027. The College also will provide free housing and meals and other fees for students from families with incomes less than $125,000.
“By deepening our commitment to affordability," said President Paul Alivisatos, "we are helping to ensure that the brightest minds can join us.”
