25 Cities Chicago
The VA has launched the 25 Cities Initiative to help communities with high concentrations of homeless Veterans to end Veteran homelessness by 2015
This weekend, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. What better way to honor them than to humbly continue our efforts to end Veteran homelessness.

Thankful for partners coming together at Jesse Brown VA yesterday for a meeting with VA Homeless Programs.
As we experience an earlier than usually cold snap and snowfall, we are reminded of the urgency of our work to end Veteran homelessness. On this Veterans Day, we honor and thank those who have served selflessly. Our thanks will never be enough.
Today we take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices of our fallen service members and their families and say thank you.
Many thanks to everyone who volunteered during our PIT Count. We are in the process of getting several Veterans connected to shelter and permanent housing. Big shout outs to our hard working teams at the Jesse Brown VA, Thresholds SSVF, and Heartland SSVF!
Today we pause to say thank you and honor the men and women who have served our country. Let us be reminded on this Veterans Day that we are grateful for their service, and renew our commitment to end homelessness amongst Veterans. 🇺🇲
Today we pause to remember those who have selflessly given their lives for our country, and continue our efforts to ensure that every Veteran has a place to call home.
The Chicago EVHI team has helped over 4,000 Veteran households transition into housing since January 2015! Great work, everyone!
