Many people know me as a worship leader.

They’ve seen me on stages, behind microphones, leading songs and helping create an atmosphere for worship. And while I am grateful for that calling, I want to reintroduce myself.

I am also a survivor.

I am a woman who has walked through abuse, heartbreak, disappointment, fear, rejection, and the difficult journey of healing. I know what it feels like to smile in public while silently falling apart in private.

That is why I wrote His Pleasure. Her Pain.

This book is not just for church people. It is not just for women. It is not just for those who have experienced domestic violence.

This book is for anyone who is ready to get real and raw with their pain, confront their innermost fears, and begin the process of healing so they can love themselves and others in a healthy way.

This book deserves to be in your brother’s car, your sister’s purse, your mother’s book club, and your father’s personal study.

My mission has never been confined to the four walls of a church. My heart is to reach the people sitting in their cars crying, the ones lying awake at night replaying old wounds, the ones carrying burdens they don’t know how to put down.
