Chicago Grant Park vendors say special events harm business: 'Time to call it quits' Some Grant Park vendors say increased special events and festivals are causing them to lose business.

Good morning Buckingham Fountain. Happy 98th birthday and going strong. Too bad the city and park district has so mis-managed this iconic destination. In their effort to make dollars; they have privatized the fountain and grant park to make their millions, limiting access to the area for tourist and the public to enjoy. Endless events and unlicensed venders have become the accepted norm leaving in the aftermarh less charury marathons, softball leagues and concessionaires who have tried to operate daily providing a place to enjoy the view while enjoying food and beverage. I like to see how this works out in a couple years for your centennial.

Heading into one of the last weekends for us. Stop on by. This weeks pizza special is Meatballs! Meatballs, ricotta cheese puffs and sun-dried tomatoes. A couple of new stronger beers to try out too.

A great Sunday funday. Air & Water show and football. Go Bears! Come for the Bears and stay for a beer. This weeks special pie is mint chocolate. So fire.

Happy Air & Water show weekend. Weather looks great. We won’t be around for the official Oktoberfest so we’re just starting early. Try our Bratwurst, beer braised onions and beer cheese pizza special or grab a Bavarian soft pretzel and a Chicagos Half Acre lager town beer to get in the spirit.
