The vines have been on this property for 20+ years👀
They are currently in the process of removing all of the vines in order to have a masonry contractor tuckpoint and address this mortar and brick deterioration 👍🏽

Basic Components of Fireplace and Chimney 💨
Focus on the Firebox, Damper, and Flue
🔴 The FIREBOX is where the actual fire burns in a fireplace
🔴 The DAMPER is a metal plate that is opened to allow gases from the fire to exit through the chimney
🔴 Those gases travel through a passageway called the FLUE ensuring combustion gases are leaving your home

Checkout some key points for the exterior
Most common point I notice? Vegetation. We are NOT inspecting the condition of the vegetation. We are inspecting how and if they vegetation affects the home.
Vegetation like tree limbs and bushes hold moisture and can scrape up against the exterior siding of homes.
