Almost 31 years ago my family came to this country. We didn't speak English and we grew up poor in a tiny little apartment till I was 18 years old. My parents worked extremely hard and so did me, my brother and sister so that we can go to college and get good jobs.

Fast forward to 2020 and my parents are extremely grateful and proud that all three of their children are happy, safe and successful because of the opportunities that the United States of America gave. In 1989 (after the first couple months in this new land) I thought this was the greatest country in the world. 31 years later, in 2020, I STILL think this is the greatest country in the world!

Yes.. we are dealing with some crazy s**t right now, but this darkness WILL lead to a brighter day! I love this country with all my heart because of the opportunities, the diversity, the security, and the freedom.

First sunrise Cardio of the year...woke up at 5:30 AM to make it to the lake to see it. The absolute best way for me to start a day 🙏🏾

Morning run views ... June 2020 ... I can't wait for the Lake trail to open up. But this city has other beautiful areas to run through first thing in the morning, especially the Riverwalk.
