I remember my first Riot Fest back in 2013. Me and my buddy scrapped up every dollar we had to come see the Pixies headline on Sunday. But it ended up raining all weekend, so we were ankle deep in mud the entire fest. But it was all worth every second 🙌🏽🔥🙌🏽 Now ATBNR is on the same lineup as the Pixies, even if we're at the very bottom 🤣🤣🤣

And we wouldn't have it any other way because this is exactly the type of s**t we dreamed of when we first started this band!!

Snowcuffs recently released their Sweet Gravity EP, which we've been spinning since release. In each song, there's impressive amount of musicianship in the syncopated rhythms and textures -- which are then layered with interweaving reverbed out guitar lines and breathy ethereal vocals. A seamless marriage of dreampop and post-punk.

Thank you to everyone that came through to our Schubas show with last Friday! We had a lot of friends come thru which made the nightl extra special.

We have a lot of pride in our Latino/e (+Ben) identity and how it informs our music, especially in the context of indie music and the current hostile political climate here. So opening for Mint Field, a well regarded shoegaze band from Mexico City, was pretty dope 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Shoutout to Mint Field for putting up with all our gear questions and signing a copy of vinyl for us! Hearing their raw ethereal vocals over reverse delays and gentle live and electronic syncopated textures was a true avant shoegaze experience 🌌🌌
