We hit up legend Gilberto Castro in Pilsen to cut and style Ben's hair for Riot Fest 🙏🏽

Ben had been growing his hair out for the last 3 years "just cuz" and often tied his hair back with free zip ties he'd get at work. After 3 years, Ben decided Riot Fest was a good excuse as any to finally get a cut. And Gil was perfect for the job 🔥🔥

Gil has been working his magic for years, cutting and styling the hair of everyone from 🌌🌌 Deftones's Chino Moreno to Halsey to local favs like Killmoves and Fantasma Negra 🌌🌌 now we know why 🙌🏽

not only was Ben looking BEAUTIFUL but Gil just radiated life. He cut Ben's hair while also chatting with us about his paintings, his midnight bicycle rides and his love for the music industry and hair. It was more than just a cut 🙏🏽

It was a special show because Armando broke a string and then tried to play Constant anyways and then slowly realized that almost every chord in that song has four voicing . . . But it was still a good time 🔥🤣🔥

Jay asked the crowd whether they liked hotdogs or hamburgers for ten minutes while Armando successfully changed his string 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Then catch us at the longest running DIY shoegaze festival in the country 🌌🌌🌌 on Friday, September 4th in Kalamazoo, MI.

Then finally we close out this weird ass summer with the biggest stage of our lives (so far 👀) at riotfest on Friday, September 18th at 12:30 PM.

Making an after hours guest appearance at the Field Museum for their Riot Fest TAKE OVER on Tuesday, August 11th 🔥🔥🔥

we play inside the museum around 6:30 PM 🙏🏽 we may or may not be playing next to the 🦖🦕🐲 fossils. They also still got the pokemon exhibit going on 🙏🏽 museum will close at 9 PM
