How are we already here? 🥹🎓

My little COVID baby is officially a kindergarten graduate and headed to first grade.

Of course I couldn’t let the occasion go uncelebrated, so we marked the milestone with his favorite (vanilla) and turned into a cupcake tower decorated with crayons, ABCs, and all the colorful school day details. ✏️📚✨

So proud of the funny, confident, and smart little boy he’s becoming. 🤍

P.S. How are my fellow COVID mamas doing? Crying too? 🥹💙

☀️📚 First day of summer break feels like the perfect time to share one of my favorite teacher cakes.

Last year, one of my son’s SECAs was graduating, so I asked one of the teachers in her classroom to have the students sign a sheet of notebook paper. My plan was simple: turn their sweet congratulations into a keepsake cake and surprise her with it. ❤️

I scanned the original page of signatures, added a few playful doodles, and brought it all to life on edible paper from , turning their sweet congratulations into a keepsake cake. Every signature, scribble, and little masterpiece was preserved exactly as the kids left it, with just a few extra playful touches added along the way. ✨

One of those projects that reminds me why I love what I do—turning meaningful memories into edible art.

Summer break starts today, but this cake is a reminder of how much teachers, aides, and SECAs impact our kids throughout the school year. ❤️

And now I’m curious... was anyone else surprised to learn Littlest Pet Shop is considered nostalgic? 😂
I thought this was a newer theme, but apparently it’s right up there with Polly Pocket for a lot of 90s babies 🫣💖
