It is with deep sorrow to hear that Tom Costello, whom the IEEE Chicago Section has worked with for the Real-Time Communications Conference at IIT for the past 5 years, has passed away. Tom was instrumental in gathering the sponsors to support the Real-time Communications Conference at Illinois Institute of Technology, and he was very professional and a pleasure to work with IEEE Chicago Section.

We saw Tom at the last RTC conference back in October where he seemed as energetic as always making sure the conference was running on schedule and sorting out any operational concerns.
