Krysta has been my go to gal since the beginning. We’ve worked countless weddings, shared our trials and triumphs within the industry, and helped one another grow in our talents. Krysta has become my second brain on those long wedding days.

It was very overdue that we swap photos with one another. Krysta, and her girls, invited me into their backyard to meet the chickens, dance in the grass, catch a mid session snack break in the garden, and vibe out in their old school van. 3 out of the 4 girls were barefoot by the end, and that’s a sign of a successful session in my book. Krysta made sure I didn’t leave empty handed — I went home with a care package from the garden and fresh eggs from the coop.

Cheers to more kiddie cocktails with you, my dear friend, this 2026 season.

A day went spent at the . Emma and Dave were initially drawn to the space because of “the timeless elegance and character of the space. It has that classic, old-money charm that feels so special and unique. The venue is beautiful on its own without needing any extra décor or bells and whistles — it just feels effortlessly sophisticated.”

Emma and Dave made the day was it was — chic, joyful, elegant. Under the glow of gilded chandeliers and candlelight, Emma and Dave exchanged vows in an atmosphere that felt both timeless and cinematic. The grandeur of Chicago’s historic architecture set the stage for an evening of modern elegance — where tradition met effortless sophistication.

From the sculptural florals framing their ceremony to the effervescent glamour of a champagne tower, every detail reflected the couple’s refined sensibility and unrestrained joy. A celebration that felt less like a single evening, and more like the opening scene of a classic love story.

With my due date quickly approaching, I wanted to make sure Emma and Dave were in the absolute best hands possible with my absence. Huge shoutout to for being the lead photographer, killing it as the second shooter, and for being the all film photographer day of. Three girls I would place full trust in to honor and document my own day. Go team!!

Full arms. Full hearts. We played dress up in mom’s closet, Emerson showed me her doll house, we climbed the window sill, had front stoop popsicles, danced amount the bubbles, played on the swings, ate some juicy watermelon, then ended in the waters.

We packed a lot into 2 hours! I always look forward to seeing the Allen’s for their yearly story telling session. This time we added a ton of film and that always fills my cup. What a joy it has been to watch their family grow from behind the lens.

Corey & Chase — their first date was kismet.
