President John F. Kennedy visited Billings (Montana) on Sept. 25, 1963. This was the first presidential visit to Billings since Woodrow Wilsonโs arrival in 1919. Speaking to a cheering crowd estimated at 17,000, President Kennedy was joined on stage by Senate Majority Leader Mike Mansfield, Sen. Lee Metcalf, and Republican Gov. Tim Babcock. The Rimrocks in the background are immediately recognizable to anyone who has visited Billings. The next day Pres. Kennedy was in Great Falls, Montana.
Less than two months later, Pres. Kennedy was assassinated on Nov. 22, 1963.

The Klamath people are a Native American tribe of the Plateau culture area in Southern Oregon and Northern California. Today Klamath people are enrolled in the federally recognized tribes:
Klamath Tribes (Klamath, Modoc, and Yahooskin (Yahuskin) Band of Northern Paiute Indians), Oregon
Quartz Valley Indian Community (Klamath, Karuk (Karok), and Shasta (Chasta) people), California.
History
The Klamath people lived in the area around the Upper Klamath Lake (E-ukshi - โLakeโ) and the Klamath, Williamson (Kรณke - โRiverโ), Wood River (E-ukalksini Kรณke), and Sprague (Plaikni Kรณke - โRiver Uphillโ) rivers. They subsisted primarily on fish and gathered roots and seeds. While there was knowledge of their immediate neighbors, apparently the Klamath were unaware of the existence of the Pacific Ocean. Gatschet has described this position as leaving the Klamath living in a "protracted isolation" from outside cultures.
North of their tribal territory lived the Molala (Kuikni maklaks), in the northeast and east in the desert-like plains were various Northern Paiute bands (Shรก"ttumi, collective term for Northern Paiute, Bannock and Northern Shoshone) - among them the Goyatรถka Band ("Crayfish Eaters"), direct south their Modoc kin (Mo"dokni maklaks - "Southern People, i.e. Tule Lake People") with whom they shared the Modoc Plateau, in the southwest were living Shasta peoples (S[h]asti maklaks) and the Klamath River further downstream the Karuk and Yurok (both: Skatchpalikni - "People along the Scott River"), in the west and northwest were the Latgawa ("Upland Takelma") (according to Spier: Walumskni - "Enemy"[a]) and Takelma/Dagelma ("Lowland/River Takelma") (more likely both were called: Wรกlamsknitumi, Wรกlamskni maklaks - โRogue River Peopleโ). Beyond the Cascade Range (Yรกmakisham Yaina - โmountains of the Northernersโ) in the Rogue River Valley (Wรกlamsh) lived the "Rogue "River" Athabascan (Wรกlamsknitumi, Wรกlamskni maklaks - โRogue River Peopleโ) and further south along the Pit River (Moatuashamkshini/Mรณatni Kรณke - "River of the Southern Dwellers") lived the Achomawi and Atsugewi (both called: Mรณatuash maklaks - "Southern Dweller", or "Southern People").
The Klamath were known to raid neighboring tribes, such as the Achomawi on the Pit River, and occasionally to take prisoners as slaves. They traded with the Wasco-Wishram at The Dalles. However, scholars such as Alfred L. Kroeber and Leslie Spier consider these slaving raids by the Klamath to begin only with the acquisition of the horse.
These natives made southern Oregon their home for long enough to witness the eruption of Mount Mazama. It was a legendary volcanic mountain who is the creator of Crater Lake (giหw), now considered to be a beautiful natural formation.

Minnie Hollow Wood (c. 1856 โ 1930s) was a Lakota woman who earned the right to wear a war bonnet because of her valor in combat against the U.S. Cavalry at the Battle of Little Big Horn. At one time, she was the only woman in her tribe entitled to wear a war bonnet.
Biography
Her husband, Hollow Wood, was a Cheyenne who also fought at the Little Big Horn. Both Hollow Woods surrendered to Colonel Nelson A. Miles at Fort Keogh in Montana in 1877.
Minnie Hollow Wood lived on the Cheyenne reservation in Montana and became an informant of author and ethnologist Thomas Bailey Marquis. Marquis suggested that she was a "favorite" of Miles while she was a prisoner at Fort Keogh.
Representation in popular culture
Minnie Hollow Wood was the subject of an animated short by Yvonne Russo. Minnie"s War Bonnet premiered at the Red Nation International Film Festival in 2019.

Missed the first 20 minutes of the party dedicated to the end of filming of his new film in one of the clubs in New York.
He waited patiently in the rain to be let in.
No one recognized him.
The club owner said: "I didn't even know Keanu was standing in the rain waiting to be let in - he didn't say anything to anyone."
"He travels by public transport". "He easily communicates with homeless people on the street and helps them".
- He is only 58 years old (September 2, 1964)
- He can just eat a hot dog in the park, sitting between ordinary people. - After filming one of the "Matrix", he gave all the stuntmen a new motorcycle - in recognition of their skill.
- He gave up most of the fee for the salaries of costume designers and computer scientists who draw special effects in "The Matrix" - decided that their share of participation in the budget of the film was underestimated.
- He reduced his fee in the film The Devil's Advocate" to have enough money to invite Al Pacino.
- Almost at the same time his best friend died; his girlfriend lost a child and soon died in a car accident, and his sister fell ill with leukemia.
Keanu did not break: he donated $5 million to the clinic that treated his sister, refused to shoot (to be with her), and created the Leukemia Foundation, donating significant sums from each fee for the film. You can be born a man, but to remain one..

Cherokee Women and Their Important Roles:
Women in the Cherokee society were equal to men. They could earn the title of War Women and sit in councils as equals. This privilege led an Irishman named Adair who traded with the Cherokee from 1736-1743 to accuse the Cherokee of having a "petticoat government".
Clan kinship followed the mother"s side of the family. The children grew up in the mother"s house, and it was the duty of an uncle on the mother"s side to teach the boys how to hunt, fish, and perform certain tribal duties. The women owned the houses and their furnishings. Marriages were carefully negotiated, but if a woman decided to divorce her spouse, she simply placed his belongings outside the house. Cherokee women also worked hard. They cared for the children, cooked, tended the house, tanned skins, wove baskets, and cultivated the fields. Men helped with some household chores like sewing, but they spent most of their time hunting.
Cherokee girls learned by example how to be warriors and healers. They learned to weave baskets, tell stories, trade, and dance. They became mothers and wives, and learned their heritage. The Cherokee learned to adapt, and the women were the core of the Cherokee
