A recent *Freakonomics* episode (Ep. 618, Jan 17, 2025) questioned the value of real estate agents, especially on the buy side. But like any industry, if you partner with the wrong person, of course, the value is diminished. The right expertise makes all the difference.
Real estate *can* be just about transactions, depending on a client’s goals. But for many, it’s about finding the right fit, building wealth, avoiding costly mistakes, and navigating high-stakes decisions. We’ve seen missed opportunities, emotional choices that cost more than just money, and the best (and worst) in people when money and ego are involved.
