Congratulations to the Logan Hockey Team on their 5-3 championship victory against Ice Warehouse in the Maryville Adult Hockey League.

The team closes the season as champions and will return to the ice this September in a new league and location. (More details to come!)

After classes and clinicals, trimester 10 Doctor of Chiropractic student Alyssa Wheel unwinds in the sweetest way possible: baking. 🍪

What started as a stress-relieving hobby has grown into Sweet Alignment, a creative outlet and small business. About once a month, Alyssa sets up a table on Logan University's campus selling brownies, cookies, cinnamon rolls and more.

For Alyssa, baking and chiropractic share more similarities than people might think.

"There's an opportunity for critical thinking and reasoning. If something doesn't go as planned, like I forgot to add sugar, there's a way to problem solve and turn it into something else. Chiropractic is the same way."

Over the weekend, Logan University participated in the 2026 ChiroGames, an intramural tournament between chiropractic students from across the United States and Canada.

We welcomed DC students to the St. Louis area and to our campus from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Cleveland University-Kansas City, Northwestern Health Sciences University, Palmer College of Chiropractic, Palmer College of Chiropractic - Florida Campus and Parker University.

The cornerstone of any academic institute is its alumni. Logan University is proud to have launched the Alumni Advisory Council (AAC) this spring to strengthen the relationship between the school and its graduates, serving as a vital bridge for communication, engagement and strategic input.

"The AAC plays a key role in fostering lifelong engagement, ensuring that our proud tradition of service and leadership continues across generations," said Logan President H. Garrett Thompson, DC, PhD.

The first official meeting occurred during Symposium 2026 – and the committee has already welcomed two new members: Logan faculty Dr. Kim Cerf and Dr. Bryan Snyder.

"A central theme of the discussion was the development of a mentorship program to connect current students with practicing chiropractors—creating opportunities for guidance, professional growth, and, in many cases, future employment," said Cynthia Sutton, Logan's director of alumni relations. "AAC members shared that giving back in this way is deeply fulfilling and aligns with their desire to support the next generation of Logan graduates.”

For alumni interested in serving on an AAC committee, interest forms can be found and completed on the Logan Alumni Hub website. Committee meetings can be held virtually to ensure broad participation.
