A strong IT relationship should create useful tension.
Leadership should know what is aging, what is exposed, what keeps recurring, and what decision should happen before year-end.
A provider that only says “all good” may be saving everyone an awkward conversation. Awkward conversations are often where the useful work starts.

Your MSP should bring up risks before they become your problem.
If every strategic IT conversation starts because leadership asked a pointed question, the provider may be operating too close to "ticket mode."
That leaves aging systems, access gaps, backup questions, vendor issues, and documentation problems sitting in the background.
Very polite. Very patient. Very capable of becoming expensive.

Some IT issues become so familiar that everyone eventually stops questioning them.
The flaky conference room. The super slow application. The login problem that appears every Monday. The “just restart it” routine.
That's operational issues hiding in plain sight.
A business can keep moving while losing time every week to problems that should have been examined months ago. Sure, the tickets may close, but the cost keeps compounding.
08/04/2026
A closed ticket can still leave behind a business problem.
If the same issue keeps coming back, the real cost is the repeated interruption, the employee frustration, and the time spent treating the symptom again.
Recurring IT issues usually point to something larger: old equipment, poor documentation, vendor handoffs. The setup that made sense three years ago but now deserves a side-eye.

We made the list again. For the second year in a row, Inzo Technologies has been named one of the area's top IT firms by St. Louis Small Business Monthly.
Because this recognition is reader-voted, it means even more to our team. Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for Inzo and to our clients who continue to trust us with their technology.
We are proud of the recognition and committed to continuing to earn it.
Midyear is a useful checkpoint for the technology issues your business has started to accept as normal.
Which problems keep returning? Which risks remain unresolved? How long would recovery take? Who responds after hours? Which decision requires leadership?
Unclear answers create blind spots. A strong review should surface the problems that have yet to become outages, security incidents, or customer complaints.
07/28/2026
A useful IT conversation should leave leadership with clear answers about risk, recovery, recurring issues, and decisions that cannot wait.
Reports filled with ticket totals and uptime percentages may miss the problems most likely to disrupt the business.
Ask the five questions in the visual. Pay close attention to answers that depend on assumptions, old information, or another vendor.
Many teams discover the same gaps during a real cyber incident:
The contact list is outdated. The insurer requires a specific response process. The backup vendor and software vendor each own different parts. One unavailable person holds the authority to act.
The plan may have failed before the technology did. A written document cannot replace clear roles, current information, and decisions made in advance.
07/21/2026
A cyber incident forces fast decisions across the business.
Someone must decide whether to shut down access, contact the insurer, notify customers, involve legal counsel, and tell employees how to keep working.
Confusion adds time. Time increases disruption.
The first hour should never depend on finding the right phone number, waiting for one unavailable person, or debating who has authority.
