Fabric, sewing and crafts are my passions and obsessions in life. Having been taught by my grandmother at the age of 8, I have been sewing, crocheting and quilting for most of my life. Feeling very accomplished today I had to have emergency gallbladder removal surgery two weeks ago. Got the all clear to get back to some sewing Thursday. I've been up since 3 am working today. Got to play catch up!! Many projects had to be put on hold. I appreciate everyone's patience and understanding.
So I have done two fitting appointments this morning for bridesmaids gown alterations. Completed and shipped out 35 pleated face masks. Cut out vinyl for 13 t shirts and hoodies, and cut out a pattern for a custom cardigan. It's only 3 pm and I have put in 12 hours. Happy to be back to work, but now I am tired!! Whew!! It's relaxation time.
