Well I finally gave in and bought the Black Orchid Diffuser (haven't used it yet 🙃) and of course it didn't fit my hairdryer so I had to get a to fit it on, which I bought from . So I'm now organised for my next wash day. Can't wait to try it out! 🖤🙌

You may or may not have seen the various hacks to get a bigger diffuser on the dyson dryer.

Let me tell you I've tried. I ended up hacking off the magnet of one of the straightening attachments and gluing it to the xtava diffuser. It took me 4 different glues to finally get one that stuck for more than 2 weeks. I thought I had it made when 6ish months later it cracked off and smacked me in the head on the way down 🤦‍♀️

Enter the * - I'd seen that you can use one of the dyson concentrator attachments and the snozzlepro to use the larger diffuser with the dyson dryer. (if only I'd known before I hacked one to pieces but I digress).

So for the last 2 wash days that's what I've used.

While there is a very slight difference in the air flow (because the air is coming through a nozzle into the diffuser instead of straight from the dyson) it really is minimal and not enough to make any big impacts on dry time.

It stayed firmly attached. I hovered, I did side to side and upside down and did the hokey lokeh and turned around (sorry couldn't resist). And didn't even wobble.

It did pop off once but not while I was diffusing 🤣 I'd finished, put it down then knocked it over sooo that one's on me 🤦‍♀️ but all that to say it took some force to make it come off.

The SnozzlePro is supposed to be a universal nozzle attachment so should fit most dryers.

Also wanted to note this is the Amaxy* diffuser which is pretty much an exact dupe for the xtava black orchid 👌🏻.
