This Weekend! Please join us!
CBSRZ stands in solidarity with the Muslim community of San Diego and with all communities targeted by hatred and violence. We mourn the lives lost in the Islamic Center shooting.
Sanctuaries and Houses of Worship are meant to be oases from the hardships and fears of daily living. Our hearts are broken when that holy boundary is broken.
In moments like these, we are reminded that protecting one another and building a society rooted in dignity, safety, and peace is a shared sacred responsibility.

Thank you so much to everyone that donated to our annual High Holiday food drive. Volunteers from the Shoreline Soup Kitchens and Pantries braved the chilly and very rainy weather this morning to fill up the truck with 1,550 pounds of donated food! As is customary for CBSRZ, our Board of Directors supplied the "decorations" for our bima again this year as a way to jumpstart the drive.
