St Elmo Stroll

Hey neighbors!

This summer, we're getting outside and going analog!

Inspired by our friends in the Northshore, we're excited to host a series of St. Elmo Play Streets this summer and the first one is happening on Saturday, June 27th from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM on the 5600-5700 block of Alabama Ave.

Think of it as a super-fun neighborhood block party where the street becomes a safe place for kids to play and neighbors to connect. We'll have chalk, bubbles, music, games, a few guest appearances and plenty of opportunities for fun throughout the day.

All neighbors welcome, but this is especially geared toward the pint-sized ones. All kiddos must be accompanied by an adult.

If you'd like to participate, volunteer, share an activity, bring a game, perform, or contribute in any way, please let us know—we'd love to have you involved!

Thank you for helping us create a fun and memorable day for our neighborhood. We can't wait to see everyone there!

Holy cow, we are still reeling from this Saturday.

Our mission is to create more opportunities for connection in the places we already share.

What we saw this weekend felt like that idea playing out in real time - across porches, sidewalks, and front yards throughout St. Elmo.

We're especially grateful to the musicians who shared their time and talent, the hosts who opened up their spaces, the volunteers who helped things run smoothly, and the sponsors who made it possible.

We'll be sharing more as we go through photos and videos, but for now, we just want to say thank you for being part of what makes this neighborhood what it is.

Both businesses have long been a part of the community here in St. Elmo, and both have been long-time supporters of the St. Elmo Stroll and the events that help bring our community together in celebration.
