Water play is an important part of early childhood education because it supports learning through hands-on exploration and play. As children pour, scoop, splash, and experiment with water, they develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, problem-solving abilities, and early math and science concepts such as measuring, volume, and cause and effect. Water play also encourages social interaction, communication, creativity, and cooperative play with peers. Most importantly, it provides a fun and engaging sensory experience that helps children build confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning. 💦☀️💖

Friday was our first fun Water Play Day of the summer, and what a wonderful time we had with all our friends! The laughter, smiles, and splashes made for a perfect day of summer fun. 💦
We also celebrated with a Summer Kick-Off BBQ luncheon for our hardworking staff, serving delicious BBQ pork and pulled chicken. Just a small token of our appreciation for all they do each and every day. 💗
We are looking forward to all the fun, learning, adventures, and memories still ahead. Here’s to a fantastic summer! ☀️
