A photographic exhibition by critically acclaimed artists Mike Smith and Magdalena Solé. Mike Smith won a Guggenheim for his work on Southern Appalachia. His work is in the permanent collections of the MET, MOMA and SFMOMA. Magdalena Sole recently published "New Delta Rising" a portfolio of images from a year long study in the Delta. Her book was given an outstanding review by the Wall Street Journal last February...."her images electrify."

Fabulous turnout for Peter Essick's Opening Reception "A Tribute to Ansel Adams". Guests got to meet the photographer and learn about his work with National Geographic and his photography project in the Ansel Adams Wilderness.

Please join us February 10th to meet the renowned National Geographic photographer Peter Essick and view his spectacular photographs of the Ansel Adams wilderness which he shot on assignment for National Geographic.

Essick's tribute to Ansel Adams was inspired by meeting the iconic photographer when he was a young artist. That meeting lead to a 25 year career with National Geographic which has included landscape photography on all seven continents. "A Tribute to Ansel Adams" represents a unique opportunity to see images which define the prototype of landscape photography. Essick has successfully brought a modern vision to the master landscape photographer's genre through awe inspiring compositions of the Ansel Adams Wilderness. The artist, Peter Essick, will be present to talk about his work, inspiration and the joy of seeing the world through the camera's lens.
