Join our community for the 2nd Annual Test & Fest Block Party, a fun and engaging event focused on health awareness, connection, and celebration. In honor of National HIV Testing Day, this family friendly gathering will feature free HIV testing, live music, arts and crafts, giveaways, and activities for all ages.

Hosted at Project 658 and sponsored by ViiV Healthcare, the event aims to increase awareness, reduce stigma, and encourage individuals to take charge of their health in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Today we’re celebrating growth, dedication, and the incredible people who help make Project Outpour what it is.

First, we want to recognize two important anniversaries.

Over the past two years, both have played an important role in helping us serve our community with compassion, dignity, and consistency. We are grateful for their commitment and the countless ways they have contributed to our mission.

We’re also excited to announce two leadership promotions within Project Outpour.

👏 Congratulations to Darren on his promotion to Operations Manager. His dedication, leadership, and heart for service have made a lasting impact on our organization, and we look forward to all that lies ahead in this new role.

👏 Congratulations to Kina Boyd on her promotion to Social Media & Marketing Manager. Through storytelling, community engagement, and sharing the heart behind our mission, she has helped connect more people to the work we do and the lives being impacted every day.

As we step into June and the beginning of Pride Month, we’re reflecting on a beautiful day of connection, this past Saturday. Project Outpour had the privilege of participating in the 30th Annual AIDS Walk, where we were able to raise $135 towards supporting those who are affected by HIV. We were honored to meet so many incredible people, share our mission, welcome new volunteers, and receive donations that will help us continue serving our unhoused neighbors throughout our community as well!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table, shared their story, made a donation, or signed up to serve. Your support helps us continue showing up for our neighbors with love and compassion! 🩵

There is still time to donate for the AIDS Walk happening this Saturday! Project Outpour is standing with our CLT community in raising money and awareness to support those living with HIV or those at risk!

This week has been nothing short of amazing! Through our coalition partnership with Hearts for the Invisible , we’ve been able to help SIX more of our neighbors move into housing!

And one moment we’ll never forget… our neighbor Mr. Kerry received housing ON HIS BIRTHDAY. 🥹🎂 What a reminder that hope still shows up right on time!

This is what happens when people come together with compassion and consistency. To every volunteer, donor, outreach worker, and supporter — thank you for helping us love our neighbors well. You are part of every breakthrough we celebrate. ❤️

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We pause with gratitude for those who never made it home and we continue to stand with those carrying the weight of service long after the uniform comes off.

A huge THANK YOU to Kim Daniels for coming out to our Friday Hickory Grove location and offering free massages to our neighbors in the community. What may seem small to some became a moment of relief, care, restoration, and human connection for so many.

We are grateful for people who use their gifts to serve with compassion and dignity. And the beautiful part? Kim is hoping to continue coming out and supporting our neighbors regularly! 👏🏽
