Supporting Schools with Inclusion Programs for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities
Sometimes life gives you a bad lie, smile and play through the adversity!
Next weekend (5/1 - 5/3), as part of the BOOM Arts Festival, there will be two showings of the play, Empty Night, that will be audio described by Arts Access NC - one on Saturday and one on Sunday.
Additionally, Interplay??, a new dance work created and performed by dancers with disabilities, will have two showings during the weekend.
I wanted to share this information with your organization because I know you work with the disability community here in Charlotte, and there are not often inclusive theatrical and dance performances for and by people with disabilities.
I would like to invite you, your community, and anyone that you know who may be interested to come to these shows and enjoy an audio described theatrical experience together or enjoy a gorgeous dance performance while supporting the community.
Please feel free to pass this information along to anyone you know, we'd love to fill the audience and show others in the Charlotte area that everyone benefits when everyone is included.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this year’s Music Festival so special. Thank you to our sponsors, vendors, bands, volunteers, food trucks, CMPD, 3rd Rock Events, Waves Entertainment, and CCHS for hosting. And to our family and friends—your presence and support meant so much.
A heartfelt thank you to Jen Cardone and Matt Stell from Queen City News (our MC's for the event) as well to everyone who attended and showed up in support of inclusion in our Catholic schools.
While we didn’t quite reach our fundraising goal, we learned a great deal and are already looking ahead. Next year will be even bigger and better.
Thank you all again for believing in this mission. We are truly grateful and blessed by your support of inclusion.

We had an amazing Saturday celebrating inclusion in our schools. Thank you to all the families, friends, volunteers, musician, the vendors, food truck, your event source, Carolina Ninja, 3rd rock team and Waves entertainment. The weather was perfect and the tunes were rocking.
