Summer is full of messages about losing weight fast, but many of those approaches can do more harm than good. If your goal is to lose weight while supporting your heart health, focus on habits you can maintain long after summer ends:
☀️ Choose nutrient-dense foods over restrictive diets
☀️ Aim for protein and fiber to help keep you satisfied
☀️ Stay active with movement you actually enjoy
☀️ Drink plenty of water throughout the day
☀️ Prioritize sleep and stress management
The PatientsLikeMe Friedreich’s Ataxia (FA) community is here! 💙
We're building a space where people affected by FA can connect, share experiences, find support, and learn from one another. We are working with industry leaders and medical experts, as well as several FA content creators, to build out THE go-to space for anyone with FA to meet, talk, and support each other.
Join the free community and become one of our first members. See you there! https://bit.ly/4frve0y

Some days you’ve got the energy for full conversations, and other days… even an emoji reply is enough 💬😔🫣🫠🤷♀️

We loved partnering with RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association for their Month of Action webinar, How to Share Your Story to Reach Others. 💛
One thing that really stood out from the conversation was that sharing your story can help someone else feel seen, understood, and a little less alone. For many attendees, it was the first time they had ever shared their experience out loud, and while it felt vulnerable, it also felt empowering.
If you’ve ever struggled to put your experience into words, this conversation is a powerful reminder that your story matters. Watch the full webinar here: bit.ly/4dHjwwi

Bringing a baby into the world changes so much physically, emotionally, mentally, and hormonally.
And while so much attention is placed on pregnancy, postpartum recovery deserves care, support, and conversation too.
This Women’s Health Month, we’re recognizing the importance of supporting women not just through birth, but postpartum and everything that comes after.

This FA Awareness Month, we’re excited to share that something exciting is coming this June. 💙
Today, we want to recognize everyone affected by Friedreich’s Ataxia and thank the FA members already part of our platform. While the community is still growing, we’re preparing for a major expansion that will bring more resources, greater outreach, stronger connections, and new opportunities for engagement.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey so far, and we can’t wait to share what’s ahead. Stay tuned. 👀

Exciting news, PCOS has officially been renamed PMOS (Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome) 🚨
This change feels incredibly validating for those living with this condition. PMOS better reflects what this community has been saying for years, because it impacts so much more than reproductive health, affecting metabolism, hormones, mental health, fertility, and overall well-being.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💛
We all have days when we feel sad, it’s a normal part of being human. But when that sadness lingers, feels heavier, or starts to impact everyday life, it may be something more.
