The event brings back the joy and wonder of book fair week, refreshed for a grown-up audience and rooted in community.
Each Charleston vendor is selected for their creativity, storytelling, or nostalgic spark. In addition to a wide selection of books, you will find posters, stickers, art prints, knick knacks, vintage clothing, and more from local artists and small businesses.
Arts and crafts, yearbook-style photos, throwback trivia, and other retro-inspired moments will round out your nostalgic experience.
A portion of proceeds will be donated to our community partner: Lowcountry Literacy

Our Story
We are general admission, standing room only. If you are disabled, seating is available upon request. Please contact [email protected].
We have a full service bar with beer, wine and liquor. Beer prices range from $4-$6, with well liquor and wine starting at $5.00. Water, soda, and Redbull are also available at the bar.
Unless noted on the website, shows are all ages. This means anyone 16 years and older may attend by themselves, while anyone under 16 needs to be accompanied by a parent/guardian. If a show is listed as 18+ or 21+ on the website, then you MUST be of that age group with a valid id. No exceptions.
All shows are on sale through www.etix.com. We do not offer refunds unless a show is canceled or the headlining band cancels. Refunds are not given because you are sick, cannot attend the show, or if the opening band cancels.
The city of Charleston imposes an indoor smoking ban. Va**ng is not allowed. However, we will allow re-entry should you want to step outside to smoke or v**e on our smoking patio.
Cash and credit are accepted for tickets at the door. We do have an ATM. The bar takes cash and credit cards. You can start a tab, but there is a $10 minimum to purchase with a card.
Shows generally start 1 hour after doors open. On occasion, we start 30 minutes after. These details are posted on our website โ www.musicfarm.com.
Parking in the city garage adjacent to the club is just $7.00 after 5pm.
We do not sell backstage passes.
The Music Farm is available for private parties and rentals. We provide sound engineers, lighting directors, security, door and bar personnel. Please email Janna at [email protected] for more information. We need to know the type of event and the intended date to give you a quote.
