A mountain view makes a great opening photo. Buyers still need to understand the house.

How does it sit on the land? What’s the approach like? How do the rooms connect? Those are the questions I’d answer with the rest of the photos and aerials.

Transylvania County homes averaged 115 days on market until sale in August, compared with 63 last August. That’s a countywide figure from 51 closed sales, so any one home may have a different story.

Charleston agents, don’t let the first week be the week you’re still adding photos.

Across Charleston Trident MLS, homes averaged 51 days from listing to accepted offer in August. Last August, it was 48.

My take? Have the photos, video and any aerials ready together. Choose the strongest cover shot before the listing goes live. Give buyers the whole picture from day one.

West Ashley on the Ashley River. 📸
We recently photographed 3135 Mulan Lane in Magnolia Bluff for Sandy Dawson with The Boulevard Company.
4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, 2,400 sq ft, plus a private neighborhood dock on the Ashley River. A great example of why good real estate photography is about showing the home and the lifestyle around it.

What if buyers could explore the area before they ever made the trip?

The restaurants. The trails and parks. Downtown. The places people actually spend their Saturdays.

That’s what a community video can do.

This one starts around Clemson and was created for Champions Village at Cherry Hill, a Great Southern Homes community by Stanley Martin Homes. Instead of only showing the homes, it helps buyers understand what life around the community actually looks like.

For agents and builders in Greenville and Charleston, this same idea can work around a listing, neighborhood, new construction community, or development.

Share it before a showing. Add it to a community page. Use it with relocation buyers who keep asking, “What’s the area actually like?”

We’re creating more of these across Greenville, Charleston, and the Upstate.

Renown model, Charleston.

A strong model-home photograph needs to do more than show the front of the house. It needs to make someone want to walk inside.

Builders and sales teams: start the next release with imagery people stop for. Plan your shoot at ListingsInMotion.com.

Stellar model, Charleston.

The strongest model-home media gives a buyer more than curb appeal. It gives them a sense of how the whole place lives.

A twilight arrival, a room with some character, and a great room built for the part of the day people look forward to.

Builders and sales teams: bring this standard to your next release at ListingsInMotion.com.

Prestige model, Charleston.

The point is not to make a model look bigger than it is. The point is to show why it feels good to be there.

Twilight curb appeal, followed by outdoor space buyers can picture using.

Builders and sales teams: build the same kind of first impression into your next release at ListingsInMotion.com.

Mystique model, Charleston.

One strong exterior does not tell the whole story. This model earns the second swipe with a real backyard moment, not another version of the same front elevation.

Builders and sales teams: put better media behind the next release. Plan your shoot at ListingsInMotion.com.

Hallmark model, Charleston.

The approach gets the click. The backyard makes people picture staying awhile. The kitchen gives the story somewhere to go.

Builders and sales teams: make the next model home impossible to scroll past. Plan your shoot at ListingsInMotion.com.
