"Just because someone critiques your design, doesn't make them right." I learned that from my typography professor.

I wish I had listened to him when my graphic design professor later told me change this design. At first, I had included the originator of this quote (Margaret Atwood) as a part of the text, but my professor said it was too similar to another design I had made for the same project. Never mind I was *intentionally* making them look similar. I still think this is the weaker version & wish I had defended my design choices.

Sharing a Margaret Atwood quote for her birthday!

This design comes from my first graphic design class project. This was a "text recessive" design. I remember playing around with more than one way to include the text without drawing too much attention away from the photo subject.
