We are honored to share that ICAN has been awarded a $730,000 gift through the Chandler Compadres' 2026 Give Day.

This investment will help ICAN continue providing critical support and opportunities for youth and families across our community, ensuring they have access to the resources and experiences they need to succeed.

For years, the Chandler Compadres have been champions for youth in our community. Their continued belief in ICAN's mission helps strengthen our impact and expand what is possible for the families we serve.

Thanks to a generous $15,000 grant from the APS Foundation, ICAN youth will continue to explore STEM through engaging activities that spark curiosity and encourage problem-solving.

From engineering challenges to hands-on experiments, opportunities like these help youth build important skills and discover new possibilities for their future.

Summer is officially underway at ICAN! ☀️🍉🩳💦

Families from our Chandler and Mesa sites recently joined us for our Summer Kick-Off Celebrations, where parents had the chance to learn about all the exciting experiences planned for youth this summer.

From an ICAN Carnival to lip sync battles, swim lessons, and even learning physics through music, our youth are set for a fun-filled summer full of discovery and memorable experiences.

We’re also grateful to the community partners who joined us to share valuable resources and information with our families: City Government of Chandler, Arizona Aquatics, Chandler Public Library, Chandler-Gilbert Community College, notMYkid, Arizona State University College of Health Solutions, and Daniel Hernandez.

Our ICAN garden is blooming with even more color thanks to our ICAN youth and the support of Preston and Erica Pilcher, along with Avnet volunteers! 🌱🎨

A special thank you to Mrs. Kathleen for designing the beautiful mural artwork and to Mr. Tom for the care he pours into our garden through fun planting activities and hands-on experiences for our youth.

The new mural has added so much joy to our garden space, and we’re grateful to everyone who shared their time and creativity to help bring it to life.

We would like to express our sincerest appreciation to our rotating Board Members, Shannon Clark, Michael Angulo, and James Christensen, for the time, leadership, and heart they have poured into our mission.

From building positive relationships through play to gaining insight into the evolving needs of our education partners, every moment was centered on one goal: creating the best possible experience for the youth we serve.
