People often bring up the topic of God and the problem of evil. When they do, I've noticed that they are very quick to ask why God allows OTHERS to do evil, but they never ask why God allows THEM to do evil. On a related note, atheists and skeptics often point out examples in the Bible where God’s judgment is being carried out. In the following video, Frank Turek does a great job of dealing with that topic. It's worth noting that whenever skeptics bring this up, they try to have it both ways; they complain that if God were just, He would punish evil, but when He does so, they complain that He's not very loving.
Be sure to watch this video clip where Turek responds to the common challenge from skeptics who cry foul whenever God’s judgment falls on wicked people. You will find it at the link in the comments below.

"To claim, as some progressive politicians do, that Jesus would have been pro-abortion is nonsense, of course. However, it points to a larger problem that has been made worse in the internet age. Lacking an understanding of logic and critical thinking, people often confuse assertions with arguments. An argument is a particular kind of thing. Beyond a truth statement, it offers reasons why it is true. An assertion only reveals what the person making the assertion believes about the world. An argument tells others why they should believe it, too. In the process, it provides a line of thinking to evaluate and consider."
"No matter how passionately someone believes in something, an assertion is a claim without support. It’s a roof without walls; a roof lying on the ground. The person who makes the claim is responsible to defend it. Especially online, people often feel the need to refute every assertion they disagree with. This is the source of endless social media fights. But those who did not make the claim are not responsible to refute it. A better response is to ask for reasons, including evidence for the assertion. Maybe the claim is true, and maybe it’s not, but until the person who professed it gives reasons to believe, no one has reason to believe."
- John Stonestreet and Timothy D. Padgett

Ten years before 9/11, in a document officially titled “An Explanatory Memorandum On the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America,” the Muslim Brotherhood told us what they were going to do. We should believe them. As Allen West explains so well in this article, there is nothing “Islamophobic” about pointing out a pattern of behavior over the past 1,400 years and saying that there are good reasons to be concerned. West’s comments are spot on. Please be sure to take a moment to read AND share the article, which you will find at the link in the comments below.

Have many in the West either forgotten or failed to learn from the events of September 11, 2001? Prominent former Muslims such as Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Mosab Hassan Yousef have frequently warned Western nations, including the United States, to look more carefully at the root causes behind events like the September 11 attacks. More specifically, they argue that Western societies must understand the theological and political frameworks of Islamist extremism in order to prevent future threats.
In this (2025) JNS TV episode, host Dan Diker interviews Mosab Hassan Yousef. Yousef’s father was a co-founder of the terrorist group Hamas. He grew up in the organization but later defected. Speaking from experience, Yousef warns Western nations that Islamist extremism is an existential threat aiming at free societies worldwide. During this discussion, they also draw some disturbing parallels between the terrorism that devastated New York and Washington on 9/11, and the genocidal onslaught Hamas launched on Israel on October 7th, 2023.

9-20 million people in the U.S. alone claim that they have had a near-death experience (NDE). Is there strong scientific evidence for near-death experiences? In this episode of ID The Future, host Andrew McDiarmid discusses this topic with his guest, Dr. Gary Habermas. Dr. Habermas is widely recognized as the leading expert on the historical evidence for Jesus' Resurrection, but he has also conducted extensive research on near-death experiences. As Habermas explains, 300-500 documented evidential cases can be divided into the following five categories:
1) Evidence from inside the location where the experience occurred (such as a hospital room).
2) Evidence from outside the room, at a considerable distance.
3) Experiences by individuals who were blind (some since birth).
4/5) Two categories that Habermas refers to as “twilight zone” experiences. The first type involves an attending nurse or physician witnessing the same NDE as the patient. The second type involves not only seeing a deceased loved one but also engaging in a discussion where the deceased shares information that was previously unknown to anyone but is later confirmed.
You don’t want to miss this fascinating interview with Dr. Habermas. Also, please share this episode with a friend, family member, co-worker, or classmate who is skeptical and believes that our lives here on Earth are all there is. "What’s wrong with socialism? On the surface, it has broad appeal because it appears compassionate to the oppressed. What could be wrong with giving more to the poor and asking more of the wealthy? Isn’t that a biblical principle? Below are six ways socialism conflicts with biblical principles." -Bob Russell
Recent surveys show that an alarming number of young people are quickly embracing and supporting socialism, including young Christians. To help bring some clarity to this very confusing topic, please take a few minutes to read AND share the following article with others. You will find a link to the article in the comments below.

Muslims and Muslim scholars often claim that there is only one Qur’an and that it has not changed over time. However, as Al Fadi and Dr. Jay Smith reveal in the following video, there are 31 different versions of the Qur’an in existence today, all of them in Arabic. Be sure to watch and share the 22-min. video at the link in the comments below. I would also encourage you to watch the more detailed video, which I have included as well in the comments section.

I am deeply concerned that many church youth groups today have become little more than social clubs and counseling sessions. Worse yet, many of those youth groups give their students a false sense of security about the world outside of their small group. That is, they tell their students that all they have to do is "love like Jesus." But despite the students’ best efforts to love others, the LGBT community continues to pressure them and “pride” rallies continue to openly mock and blaspheme Jesus. Many youth groups also give their students a false sense of security by assuring them that everything will be fine as long as they are more accepting of those who are "different" from them. Meanwhile, those who are "different" are not only advancing views and ideologies that are at odds with Christianity, they are reaching millions with TikTok videos that openly and unashamedly attack God, the Bible, and Christianity.
For all of those reasons and more, I would highly recommend that you share the following websites with a young person(s) in your life so that they are well prepared and equipped to face the challenges that await them. Please feel free to copy, paste, and share this list of resources with others. You will find that list of topics/websites in my comments below.

As Christians, it's important that we love people well. This includes being informed and involved politically, and here's why: Not only are political issues moral issues, but political decisions shape our families, neighborhoods, cities, culture, and nation—either in a direction that helps us flourish or in the opposite direction, which leads to destruction. This is why you don’t want to miss the following podcast. The description reads as follows:
“What if avoiding politics isn’t protecting the Church, but surrendering to the culture? In this Live Free episode, Pastors Josh Howerton, Ryan Visconti, and Josh McPherson tackle one of the most pressing questions facing Christians today: Should the Church avoid politics, or is civic engagement part of biblical discipleship? Through a powerful conversation on the Great Commission, cultural leadership, and Christian statesmanship, they unpack why silence in the public square may actually hinder long-term flourishing for families, churches, and future generations. This episode challenges believers to think beyond partisan labels and embrace a comprehensive biblical worldview that applies God’s truth to every area of life—including government, policy, and culture.” -Lakepointe Church

“Jonathan Morrow says college usually doesn’t create a faith crisis; it reveals one that was already happening beneath the surface. When students set foot on campus, the worldview pressures are everywhere, and most students simply aren't prepared for what they're about to encounter at every level of campus life. Jonathan is the Director of Cultural Engagement and Student Discipleship at Impact 360 Institute and the author of Welcome to College. In this episode, we discuss:
Why students often drift from faith before college.
How screens and social media quietly disciple young people.
The ‘death by a thousand nudges’ effect on worldview.
Warning signs parents should watch for.
The hidden worldview assumptions in general education classes.
Which majors tend to create the biggest worldview challenges.
Why Christian colleges present their own challenges.
What parents should prioritize when choosing a college.
How to help students build a faith they truly own.
Whether your child is heading to college this fall or is still years away, this conversation will help you think more carefully about preparing the next generation for what they'll encounter on the college campus.” -Natasha Crain
