At FBC Chandler we love to PRAISE! Join us tomorrow at 9:00AM or 10:30AM for service!
Youâve heard the verse âJudge not, lest you be judged.â But what does this verse actually mean? Is it a blanket statement to never pass judgement on anyone, for anything, under any circumstances? Or is there context to âjudge notâ that we need to understand righteous judgement? Find out in this weekâs full episode of Theology Thursday!

Don't live for the cares of this life!
Here are FIVE bits of wisdom that Jesus gives in Luke chapter 21 that ought to remind us to fix our gaze on things that are eternal rather than temporal!
1- It doesn't matter how much power or wealth you have, it can all be gone in an instant, so don't live for the cares of this life!
2- In order to be prepared for opposition, you need to saturate your mind with God's word, so don't live for the cares of this life!
3- If you are committed to Jesus Christ, you will be hated by the world, so don't live for the cares of this life!
4- The son of man will come in the clouds and he will bring unity and redemption forever, so don't live for the cares of this life!
5- Heaven and earth will pass away but the Kingdom of God will never pass away, so don't live for the cares of this life!
Theology Thursday - Jeremiah and False Prophets
GIVING ISNâT ABOUT WHO CAN SACRIFICE THE âMOSTâ - GIVING IS AN ACT OF LOVE!
You may have heard before that if you give, God will make you rich. That is NOT what the Bible teaches about giving! Jesus could have snapped his fingers and made the widow rich because she gave her two mites, but He didnât. Because it wasnât about the two mites, it wasnât about the size of the sacrifice, and it wasnât about what she would receive in return for giving it: what Jesus wanted the disciples to see and wants us to see is that giving isnât about the gift but about the posture of the giverâs heart. He wants to receive our gifts because we give them out of wholehearted love and devotion to Him!
