Thank you for visiting the page for ScienceofSpeed - a window into the day to day happenings of ScienceofSpeed - NSX & S2000 Performance Specialists.
The factory Second Generation NSX magneto-rheological (MR) shock absorbers are known to fail prematurely due to stiff top mounts and short top guide bushings. ScienceofSpeed has developed a plug-and-play replacement for the factory shock absorber in partnership with AST x Moton Suspension. The AST shock absorbers outperform the factory shocks in ride quality, motion control performance, durability, and adjustability, and are now also available for less than half the price of the factory assemblies. We're aware of the ongoing problems with the original shock absorbers failing on the NC1 NSX. We've designed direct replacements with our friends at AST that will be available soon!
☑ Direct replacement for factory shock absorbers.
☑ Preserves factory top mounts, front fork, and spring hardware for comfort, factory fitment, and a very attractive price!
☑ Height adjustment - set ride height to factory, -10mm, or -20mm.
☑ Manual damping adjustment - out of the box, they are well balanced for comfort with increased performance - however, they allow manual adjustment if desired - and the kit includes modules that prevent the factory electronics from coding
☑ Superior mono-tube design that addresses the deficiency with the factory design that causes them to leak. These are expected to be released in mid February!
The ScienceofSpeed RR-MAX Turbocharger System is available now!
☑︎ Reverse rotation tubocharger & manifold with investment cast merge collector improves flow to increase the power capacity from 150-300 wheel horsepower!
☑︎ Amplifies and doesn't detract from the S2000 driving experience! Quick spool and brooooooad torque curve!

When the NSX brake pedal is pressed hard, the firewall and brake booster flex, creating a vague, spring-like pedal feel that reduces driver confidence. Some pedal force is lost to sheet metal flex instead of braking. The ScienceofSpeed Brake Master Cylinder Brace cuts master cylinder movement by over 50%, delivering a firmer, more responsive brake pedal. Click link in bio for more!
