Union demands IRS close Atlanta office ‘immediately’ over rat infestation Some employees have quit over the infestation.

🚨Hey everyone‼️
Are you frustrated with the current working conditions at the Chamblee office? Between the facility issues and the recent local news coverage regarding the rat 🐀infestation, it’s clear that we need to speak up.
If you are fed up, we urge you to contact Congress to voice your concerns. Please note that your identity will not be shared with the IRS through this process.
How to take action:
1 Visit NTEU.org.
2 Navigate down to the Action Center.
3 Click Write Congress.
4 Select any letter.
5 Change the Subject to: Congressional Inquiry.
6 Delete the pre-filled letter and replace it with your own complaint, explicitly requesting a Congressional Inquiry into the conditions at the Chamblee, GA IRS facility.

NTEU NTEU represents employees in 38 federal agencies and offices.

We know there are a lot of illegal acts, harassment, bullying, unprofessional behavior, rodent and pest issues taking place in your workspaces. Please check your emails to register for the town hall set for April 16 at 8 pm.

Please note we are still filing grievances in accordance with the Federal Labor Relations Authority under Section 7114 of Title 5, the IRS must maintain the CBA with NTEU and cannot purport to end it. Even if they choose to be in breach of contract.

Be sure you are documenting all your issues making copies and getting them in writing. All Chapter 284 members can forward their issues to [email protected]. Must be sent from your personal email.

You must be signed up and paying dues through dues direct. It does not matter if your SF-50 status was illegally changed to NBU. You will still be covered by NTEU. Send email to [email protected] if you did not receive link to join
