War Turtle Racing would like to welcome Elliott Vogel to the team for the 2022 Racing season. With Jay Crabill sitting out Friday nights due to his new position at Hawkeye Downs Speedway and Expo Center, we felt it would be a shame to have the car sitting in the garage when it could be out in the field giving an opportunity to another racer. So when we heard Elliott was looking for a ride, it was an easy decision. With 5 wins over the last two seasons at HD, and many more top 5s, it seems Elliott will be the perfect fit for us at WTR! We cannot wait to get the season started and look forward to fighting for wins and a championship with Elliott!

It's Race Day!! Today will be the season debut for Savitar at HD after running a loaner car last week for the season opener. We finally got our new motor in and will be ready for battle at Hawkeye Downs Speedway and Expo Center tonight! We'll see you there!!
