Panther Company Cadets took on the Traditions Challenge Amazing Race (TCAR) as part of UNI Homecoming! 💜💛
Cadets raced from station to station across campus, completing a variety of challenges and taking a team photo at each station before moving on to the next. Challenges included navigating while blindfolded, showing off some dance moves, solving two puzzles, spelling out UNI with their bodies, hunting down a rubber duck, and much more!
TCAR gave our Cadets the opportunity to step away from tactical training, build camaraderie, work together, and enjoy some friendly competition while celebrating UNI Homecoming.
A special congratulations to one of our ROTC teams, The Rangers, for taking 1st place in the competition! 🥇🏆
Great work to all of our Cadets who participated and represented Panther Company! Go Panthers! 🐾💜💛

LEAD LAB 7
Panther Company Cadets started the morning with a walkthrough of attack operations, using our regular physical training time to continue developing tactical proficiency while making room for UNI Homecoming events during our normal lab period.
Cadets worked through the fundamentals of conducting an attack, focusing on planning, movement, communication, and the roles of each element throughout the operation. The walkthrough gave Cadets an opportunity to slow things down, ask questions, and better understand how each piece comes together before executing at full speed.
A different kind of PT morning, but another opportunity to train, learn, and prepare for future operations.
Train to standard. Lead from the front. 🐾

🏆 CADET OF THE MONTH | CDT COURTNEY SINNOCK 🏆
Congratulations to CDT Courtney Sinnock on being selected as our Cadet of the Month!
CDT Sinnock continues to set the standard through her discipline, leadership, and commitment both in and outside of ROTC. An Air Assault graduate, Teaching Ranger Challenge , and acting Platoon Sergeant, she consistently demonstrates what it means to lead by example.
Her dedication was especially evident recently when she completed FTX, traveled to Omaha for an interior design project for her major, and then returned in time to join her fellow Cadets for night land navigation during Lead Lab 6.
CDT Sinnock’s ability to balance academics, ROTC, and additional responsibilities while continuing to show up and perform reflects the discipline and commitment we strive for within our program.
Congratulations, CDT Sinnock! Well deserved! 🇺🇸

Cadets put their strength, endurance, and determination to the test while completing the obstacle course during FTX!
From climbing walls to navigating challenging obstacles, Cadets pushed themselves outside their comfort zones while building confidence, resilience, and teamwork along the way.

Cadets took training to new heights during FTX with rappel tower operations! Cadets learned proper rappel techniques, safety procedures, and equipment before putting their skills to the test on the tower.
Training like this challenges Cadets to step outside their comfort zones, build confidence, and trust both their equipment and teammates.
One step off the tower. One step closer to becoming a stronger leader.

Panther company completed Lead Lab 6 Land Navigation tonight.
Despite the cold rainy weather cadets executed day and night land navigation with high morale. Took a break for some yummy Dominos pizza! Way to make rainy weather fun.

Cadets kicked off FTX with safety briefs before moving into the zeroing and qualification ranges. MS1s and MS2s spent most of the day at the EST range, while other MS3 cadets conducted M4 qualification, including some getting their first opportunity to qualify.
After range operations, cadets conducted weapons maintenance before moving into their patrol bases for the night.
Day 1 complete! 💪🏻🪖

Today’s Lead Lab 5, cadets prep for upcoming FTX this weekend. They went over a brief over what to expect for this weekends training and then how to properly pack their rucksacks.
