We recently promoted our 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙎𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝 𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗔𝗽𝗽 at the South Dakota Solid Waste Management Association (SDSWMA) 2024 Spring Workshop in Deadwood, South Dakota. We had a great time visiting with everyone at the event!

Stellar Programming & Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a software engineer for web app development as full-time employment. This position would involve either front-end development, back-end development, or both with closed-source custom software for clients and in-house projects.
You must reside in the Casper, Wyoming area and able to work on-site at the Stellar offices.
Pay and benefits depend on experience.
The ideal candidate has experience working with small teams on a variety of project types and is skillful in managing time individually. Articulate written and verbal communication skills are desirable.
Your responsibilities would include, but not necessarily be limited to:
• Coordinating with a small team to assist in the development of web-based cloud-hosted software.
• Front-end and/or back-end programming, depending on experience.
• Assisting with database-related tasks.
• Light UI design work.
• Reviewing code and writing code comments and documentation.
You must be skilled in some or all of the following:
• .NET
• C #, LINQ-to-SQL, Entity Framework
• JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
• Angular / Angular CLI
• Dependency injection patterns
• SOLID principles
• MS SQL Server, SSMS
• Microsoft Azure or similar cloud IaaS
• RESTful Web APIs, JSON, AJAX concepts
• Understanding of HTTPS, SSL/TLS, and DNS
• Windows 10/11
• Windows Server 2012 or newer
• Kicking stubborn printers
• VPN technologies
• Website hosting services
Nice to have: Familiarity with
• Technical documentation skills
• Mobile app development (Android, iOS)
• Online payment processing systems
• Wix
• Node.js
• MySQL, PHPMyAdmin
• RDP / Terminal Services or similar remote support tools
