Our amazing girls' soccer team showed excellent Cougar Pride in bringing over the Centennial girls' soccer players when Centennial did not have a girls' soccer coach. A HUGE THANK YOU to our players and coaches for allowing everyone to have time on the field!

The last day for our Homework Club will be Wednesday, May 27th. Please speak with your students about alternative plans for after school.

We will be celebrating our 8th Graders tonight, Tuesday, May 26th, at our 8th Grade Graduation!

All current CCA 8th graders and their families are welcome to attend the CCA 8th Grade Graduation.

The graduation will be held in the CCA gym.

Topic: Computer and Charger Return begins THIS FRIDAY

Students will be returning their computers and chargers for the school year on the following dates:

6th Grade- Friday, May 22nd (Last Friday)
7th Grade- Tuesday, May 26th (Tomorrow)
8th Grade- Wednesday- May 27th (Wednesday)

Stickers and other items should be removed from the Chromebooks before returning them.

Students will be given fines in Infinite Campus for items that are not returned.

Topic: Last Day of School- Friday, May 29th

The last day of school holds a very different schedule from a regular day of school.

Students do not need to bring backpacks or binders, and a BBQ lunch is provided for all students and staff.

*The last day of school is also a Pajama Day!

-11:00am-12:30pm Last Blast BBQ
-12:30pm-2:00pm Talent Show and Prizes!
-2:00pm-2:30pm 4th Quarter Awards

Topic: May Spirit Day- Pajama Day!

Friday, May 29th, will be a Spirit Day sponsored by the Student Council. On this day, staff and students can wear their school-appropriate pajamas to celebrate the last day of school!

Topic: Spring Hollywood Dance Information

Our Spring Hollywood Dance is on Friday, 5/22. Listed below are important details about the dance.

*6th Grade: 5:00pm-6:00pm
*7th Grade: 6:15pm-7:15pm
*8th Grade: 7:30pm-9:00pm

8th Graders do have an extra 30 minutes for their dance.

Other Important Information:
- The cost of the dance is $5, which goes toward the cost of the DJ.
- The dance is sponsored by CCA Student Council.
- Pizza will be provided to students for free.
- Snacks and drinks will be sold for $1 per item, this money goes toward funding Student Council. Cash only can be used for snacks and drinks.
- Hollywood Theme, as voted on by students.
- CCA students ONLY will be permitted at the dance.
- If a student has received a suspension since 5/1, they will not be permitted to attend the dance.
- Students must also be present on Friday, 5/22, in order to attend the dance.
- Dress code must be followed at the dance
- No outside food or drink is allowed.
