Hey T-Birds, stop by the library at noon today, 4/13, to pet the therapy dogs!

How it started/How it's going: One of our goals with Tales with Tails is to help shelter animals find their families through the socialization they get when the Readers read to them. Turns out that Grasshopper's new family is with one of our regular Readers! Mom says Grasshopper is settling in well and is best friends with her Reader 🥰 (Pssss: we read on Saturday 4/11 at 1).

Today, our pre-service teachers in their Teaching Literacy class participated in Tales With Tails to see the win/win between helping socialize the animals and helping students with literacy/reading skills. Plus, that kitty was getting ALL the scritches!

We will be closed this Friday-Sunday for spring holiday! Have a wonderful break, T-Birds!
