A few days on the road, a head full of inspiration, and a renewed commitment to the work ahead.

Behind every finished space is a lot of vision, construction dust, material samples, and problem solving.

A little glimpse into the process, where ideas slowly turn into home.

A day immersed in textiles, layered materials, and endless design inspiration. From the intricate details woven into every fabric to the craftsmanship behind each collection, today was a reminder that great design always begins with the foundation you don’t always see.

There is something inspiring about experiencing the process behind the scenes, the textures, the development, the artistry, and the conversations that eventually shape the spaces we create. Days like today continue to fuel the creative process and deepen the appreciation for intentional , elevated design.

Honored to share that Rathell Designs alongside Alena Conley were featured in discussing the transformation of overlooked spaces within the home into environments that better support everyday family life.

What was once considered a forgotten corner or “dead zone” became an opportunity to rethink the way we live today, designing for work, learning, wellness, creativity, and neurodiversity through spaces that feel both elevated and deeply livable.

To collaborate alongside Alena, my friend and mentor whose voice and platform continue to encourage meaningful dialogue and growth, made this feature even more special.

Grateful for the recognition, the conversation, and the continued evolution of design as a tool for supporting everyday life beautifully.

Bringing this one back meant something.

We revived this project while onboarding a new client, two different rhythms at once. This one asked for patience, clarity, and a reset. It’s special because it wasn’t just about design, it was about realigning the vision and finishing with intention.

Sometimes the most meaningful spaces are the ones you come back to and get right.
