CHS Parents and Guardians,

Yesterday, the district shared information through ParentSquare regarding 2026-2027 Online Enrollment. If you have not yet completed your student’s enrollment, please take a few minutes to do so as soon as possible.

Completing enrollment now helps us prepare for the upcoming school year and will help expedite the release of student schedules in early August. Additional information regarding schedule release will be shared toward the first of August.

Thank you to those families who have already completed the process. We appreciate your help in ensuring a smooth start to the 2026-2027 school year for all Carthage High School students.

Huge shout out to our CHS band students, under the direction of Mr. Sal Prado! They spent their first day of summer break helping our maintenance crew move classroom furniture. We know Mr. Hamm and his team are grateful for the extra help!

And with that, the 2025-2026 school year has come to a close. On behalf of the entire faculty and staff of CHS/CTC, we thank you all for an amazing year. We hope you have the best summer. Relax and recharge. Have fun and be safe. We want every single one of you to come back to us in August with a smile on your face! Until then, we will miss you. Happy summer break!

Today we celebrate and honor three incredible members of the CHS family — Mark Holderbaum, Jennifer Sager, and Kelly Avise — as they begin their well-earned retirement.
Thank you for your years of dedication, service, and unwavering commitment to Carthage High School. Through your hard work, compassion, leadership, and daily investment in students and staff, you have each helped shape the culture and spirit of CHS in lasting ways.
The impact you leave behind goes far beyond classrooms, offices, and hallways. You have influenced lives, inspired students, supported colleagues, and helped make CHS a better place for countless people over the years. Your legacy will continue through the memories, lessons, and relationships built during your time here.
While you will be greatly missed, we are excited for the new adventures and opportunities retirement brings. Thank you for everything you have given to CHS and to the many students and families you have impacted along the way.

Congratulations, Mark, Kelly, and Jennifer — and best wishes in this next chapter. You will always be an important part of the CHS family.

The Class of 2026 has over 400 graduates and as of 5/12/26 only 140 senior have completed the Final Transcript Request Form. This google form must be completed in order for seniors to pick up their diploma after graduation.

🎓 Hey Seniors—Let’s Talk Final Transcripts! 🎓
Your final transcript is the official record of your high school grades, and most colleges, employers, and military branches require it after graduation.
📌 What You Need to Do:
1️⃣ Know where you're headed (college, military, trade school, etc.)
2️⃣ Submit a final transcript request through this link: https://forms.gle/kqvwr2wEZenTNJ9S8
You can also find this link on the Carthage High School Counseling Website.
3️⃣ Double-check the recipient address or email is correct
4️⃣ Must be submitted before picking up diplomas. Google form will close 5/22/26
💡 No request = No record sent! This can delay college enrollment or other post-grad plans.
There is an option to select "No, I do not plan to continue my education and do not need my final transcript sent anywhere." Therefore we ask all senior students to complete this google form regardless of post-secondary plans.
